Sugar-Free Cacao Strawberry Smoothie Bowl (Thick, Bright, No Added Sugar)

This one is a summer ritual. It tastes like strawberries and chocolate, but it’s built with whole foods and no added sugar.

Ingredients (1 bowl)

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 frozen banana (for texture and sweetness)
  • 1 tbsp pure cacao powder (or finely grated 100% cacao)
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened plant milk (add slowly)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1 tbsp chia seeds (blend in for thickness)

  • unsweetened coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. Add frozen strawberries, banana, cacao, salt, and half the milk to a blender.
  2. Blend slow and thick. Add milk a splash at a time until it moves, but stays spoonable.
  3. Pour into a bowl and top.
  4. Eat immediately for the best texture.

Pro tips (so it tastes premium)

  • Salt is non-negotiable. It makes cacao taste deeper and less sharp.
  • If you want it darker, add 1 extra tsp cacao instead of more liquid.
  • Use frozen fruit only. Fresh fruit makes it runny.
